VIRTUAL Art After School and Art After Lunch
for artists in K-5th grades
Let us fill your child's afternoons with art, materials, and big ideas! Each week in this 75 minute Zoom class, we examine works of art and unlock the ideas and processes used by the artists to create them. Since the coronavirus pandemic began, our teaching artists have worked hard to capture the essence of our in-person programming in an online format, and we are delighted by the connections we have been able to build online. Like our studio classes, our online projects emphasize process, problem solving, and experimentation, and are designed in response to the students' interests. Classes are capped at ten students for plenty of one-on-one attention, and are hosted on Google Classroom so it's easy for your and your young artist to stay connected and inspired. Each series culminates in a virtual celebration, open to friends and family members all over the world!
Each virtual session with Eckford Street Studio includes one of our fabulous ART KITS! Our Art Kits are assembled at our studio, and are packed with supplies hand selected by your teaching artist to provide everything you will need for every project you will do together, and then some. Art Kits are delivered to your door before class begins. (Shipping fees apply outside North Brooklyn.)

Build Your Own Art Club
Gather up your friends near and far, and create your own virtual art experience! Work with an ESS teaching artist to create a weekly series of 75 minute Zoom classes customized to your children's interests. You tell us what your young artists love, choose the day and time, and we do the rest!
Each session includes looking at art and learning about artists, exploring new materials and methods, and lots of chances to share creativity and inspiration with friends!
Class fees are flat rate, up to 10 students - the more friends you include, the lower the cost for everyone! Get one of our fantastic Art Kits delivered to your door for an additional fee.

(Pay-what-you-can weekly art class for grades K-5)
Join us on Wednesdays in our virtual art studio for art looking and art making with friends! Explore a variety of materials and methods, learn about historical and contemporary artists, and develop a personal art making practice with teaching artist Harriet Tebbets Come every week, or whenever it suits your schedule!
